To mark its inaugural participation in PAN Amsterdam, the premier fair for art, antiques, and design, Gallery ILÉ is thrilled to unveil THE BEACH IS IN THE FOREST, an ambitious group exhibition, curated specifically for this event. 

Exploring complex thematics surrounding notions of memory preservation, historical erasure, identity, and spirituality, across Afro-diasporic worlds, the exhibition showcases a selection of  truly arresting works in fine art painting, sculpture, and photography, by world-renowned modern masters and trailblazing contemporary artists including: Dominique Zinkpè, Gérard Quenum, Nicola Lo Calzo, Eddy Ochieng, Elon M Tossou, Wabi Dossou and Nathanaël Vodouhè.
