Cette oeuvre d'art est sculptée à la main dans un bloc unique de bois de Kosso d'Afrique sourcé de manière durable. Après avoir été sculptée, la pièce est brûlée dans un feu incandescent, puis au chalumeau, avant d'être enfin recouverte d'un composé formulé à partir de pigments organiques mixtes et d'acrylique. La base est forgée en acier inoxydable.

"Le marratif visuel saisissant de Nathanaël Vodouhè met en jeu des émotions polarisantes comme la gentillesse et la cruauté, ainsi que des raisonnements dogmatiques sur le bien et le mal, la lumière et les ténèbres ou l'intemporalité et la finalité. Interagissant apparemment en harmonie, à y regarder de plus près, ces dichotomies emphatiques dénoncent en fait les péchés d'une société moderne piégée dans une course contre elle-même, toujours plus soucieuse de produire en masse, d'accumuler des biens matériels et de générer des profits, à tout prix, même si cela signifie qu'il nous faut consummer notre humanité inhérente de l'intérieur."
